Collection: Sage Eyes
The main series of Sage Eyes, the story of Simon and Tiffani.
He's alive!
Ahh!
Hey, he could tell us what happened.
Ouch...
What were you doing here, Light Thief?
I can't believe we're in the King's Vault. What would happen if we took one of the artifacts?
Look what happened to these thieves. I'm not risking it. Close this place up, I say. It's cursed.
Is it just me, or is this one familiar?
Hey, you're right. He looks like the one from the dance, the...
Light Thief!
So we finally caught him, heh.
Maybe Dame Mari will reverse that demotion.
Latrine duty is the worst!
I can't believe they're gone. It makes no sense. I just saw them yesterday.
Do you think Tiffani did it?
How could you believe that? She's your friend!
I'm just saying she's been acting strange lately. The betrothal really affected her.
Are you saying I drove her to it? That I'm such a bad match that she took revenge on her parents?
No, you're saying that. It was probably an accident. I just wish she had told me.
Dame Mari refuses to give details, says she abdicates judgment to the High Judge and will only give her account during the trial.
She says she doesn't want to influence justices. What an infuriating Freelander. I just want to have an idea how it will go, to plan accordingly.
King Jorj died, Father! You sound heartless.
He was my best friend! Don't you think I'm grieving, too? But if I stop for a moment to take it in, I won't be able to start up again.
Father...
I'm sorry. It's just so much. No one was prepared for this. But I feel the best way to honor him is to get his daughter on the throne. Not leave her in jail. For that, though, she needs to be married with her named cleared.
Wait, you want me to become king?!
Well, yes, that was the point of your betrothal. Of course, you were supposed to have more time to prepare...
Wasn't Tiffani's bodyguard there? The Faelys? Maybe he could tells us more than Mari.
Why, hello there, Mero. Have a moment?
Oh, hi!
Chapter 3
The Escape
You mean we get to stay in the castle?
Yep. Our master has connections. When he's ready, he'll come for us. But for now, enjoy.
Who is she?
